AsIAm, an Ireland-based charity  have created an Autism-Friendly Accreditation, a seal of approval that tells you a place isn’t just welcoming, but truly inclusive for autistic people.

This accreditation isn’t just a badge. It’s a commitment. It starts with a “Charter of Inclusion”, a pact between AsIAm and Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Sligo. This charter is a roadmap, outlining practical steps the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Sligo can take to support the autism community. It’s tailored to the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Sligo needs and goals, and it’s transparent, so autistic individuals and their families know exactly how they’ll be supported.

AsIAm believes that becoming autism-friendly isn’t a destination, it’s a journey. So, this accreditation isn’t a one-time thing. It’s renewed every year, based on how well Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Sligo is doing in living up to the promises in the Charter of Inclusion. This ensures a continuous commitment to the autism community.

So, what does this mean for Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Sligo? It means making changes to their services to make them more accessible to autistic people. This could be anything from tweaking the physical environment, training the staff, or providing clear information about the hotel’s services and facilities. The goal?
